What do you consider a young professional?
YPAs are professional young adults typically in the first ten-fifteen years of their careers and are generally between 21 and 40, though there are no age restrictions.
What type of job do I have to have to be included?
Young professionals come in all shapes, sizes, nationalities, backgrounds, industries, educational experiences. Accountants, artists, bankers, engineers, non-profit, graduate students, and small business owners and everyone in between are welcome!
Does membership cost anything?
Special events may have nominal fees associated.

Do I have to be an Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce Member to join YPA?
Membership in YPA is open to all young professionals in Alamosa and the greater SLV. YPA is a program of The Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce and is designed to encourage and support the growth and development of our area’s young, talented workforce. An Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce membership is NOT required to attend YPA events but a non-member fee may be applied to non-Chamber YPA members attending OTHER Chamber programs and events.
If I have a venue or an idea I think would be good for a YPA event, what do I do?

How do I learn more about sponsoring a YPA event?

I’m older than the target demographic for this group, how else can I get involved?
